Returns Information from FairyLightUK
These terms do not affect your statutory rights and are in addition to Distance Selling Regulation (DSR) requirements.
DSR applies only to purchases made by an individual and not a business transaction. If you are a business wishing to return items please contact our Customer Services for advice on 01427 666020 or email us at sales@fairylightuk.com.
We carefully select our products and hope you will be happy with your purchase; however there may be times when you feel you need to return an item to us.

Unwanted Item/s
There is no need to worry if you have had a change of heart with your purchase, just simply notify FairyLightUK by telephone on 01427 666020 or e-mail us at returns@fairylightuk.com within 28 days of receipt. Unfortunately if we are not notified within this timeframe we will be unable to process your return. The cost related to returning the unwanted goods to FairyLightUK shall be borne by the customer. You are also responsible for the goods whilst in transit until they reach our warehouse. Responsibility for loss or damage while in transit shall be borne by you or for you to dispute with your delivery service providers.
Please ensure that the goods are unused and are in a perfect, re-saleable condition (this does also include the product packaging and instructions etc.)
If there are any incomplete items returned to us, we will not be able to refund you. You will be held responsible for any other charges incurred in connection with your order, for example, delivery charges etc.
Upon receipt of your return you will be refunded for the amount paid for the goods. A refund/exchange will be actioned by FairyLightUK within 2 weeks of receipt of the goods. Please note no refunds will be given for the delivery charge incurred when the order was placed or for the cost of returning the unwanted goods to us.
Faulty Item/s
Please notify our Customer Service team within the first 7 working days from receipt of your order with regards to any products that you have received with a defect.
Items Lost When Returning
Please note that FairyLightUK are not accountable for any item/s lost whilst they are being returned. You will be responsible for the item/s until they reach us. For your own protection, we suggest you use a secure despatch method which requires a signature upon delivery.
Refunds & Replacements
Refunds for item/s returned to us within the 28 days of receipt of your order will be processed within 2 weeks. The refund of the return item/s will be credited to the card account used for the original purchase.
Any alternative or replacement items required against a return will not be sent out until we receive the original goods back. (A request for alternative items to be dispatched may result in an additional delivery charge).
However, if you wish to receive any replacement items as a matter of urgency, a further order can be placed as normal online or by telephone (usual delivery charges apply).
Personalisation & Modification of Products
No refund or exchanges will be given on items produced or modified at any time to your specification.
Non-Returnable Goods
For hygiene reasons we cannot allow or accept returns of costumes, hats & body jewellery.
In addition perishables such as Mulled Wine sachets will not be accepted.
