Standard Delivery Service

All orders must be placed by 12noon Monday to Friday to ensure that they are dispatched that same day.  If the cut off time has lapsed then your order will be dispatched on the next working day.  Deliveries will only be made on a week day (Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays) and the approximate delivery schedule is 1-2 working days.  Delivery will generally take place between the times 7.30am – 5.30pm, although please allow for earlier or later deliveries during busy periods.

Priority Next Working Day Service

All orders must be placed by 12noon Monday to Friday to ensure that they are dispatched that same day.  If the cut off time has lapsed then your order will be dispatched on the next working day.  Please note the delivery will be made on the next business working day only (Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays).  Deliveries for priority services will generally take place from 7.30am and will be delivered on or before the delivery time chosen, although please allow for earlier deliveries during busy periods.

We would advise that somebody should be at the delivery address to sign for the priority delivery from the earliest delivery time detailed.

All orders must be placed by 12noon on the Friday to ensure that they are dispatched that same day for a Saturday delivery.  If the cut off time has lapsed then your order will be dispatched on the following Friday for delivery Saturday.  Please note the delivery will be made on the next available Saturday.  Deliveries for Priority Saturday Services will generally take place from 7.30am and will be delivered on or before the delivery time chosen, although please allow for earlier deliveries during busy periods.

We would advise that somebody should be at the delivery address to sign for the priority delivery from the earliest delivery time detailed.

Special Orders

Due Soon – Customers will be contacted within 24 business hours should an order be placed for a product where the item is shown as Due Soon.  At this point we will advise to you by telephone or e-mail an approximate delivery schedule.

5 -10 Days – Products which have a delivery time detailed against them will be delivered direct to our customers from our suppliers.

Multiple Deliveries – There may be an occasion whereby you may receive multiple deliveries, for the single order that you have placed.  Please be assured that you will not be charged for multiple deliveries.

Our aim at FairyLightUK is to be as fair and competitive as possible with the cost of delivering your goods.  The two delivery companies that we use for over 99% of our orders are UK Mail and Royal Mail.  FairyLightUK has worked with both of these companies for many years ensuring that our parcels are delivered on schedule to customers all over the UK and Europe.

UK Mail - Express Parcels &amp; Mail 

UK Mail is one of the largest express delivery companies in the UK with 40 years of experience.

 

 

Royal Mail

 

Royal Mail has been delivering the UK’s parcels for over 360 years. Their aim is to continue making a positive impact on the businesses and on the lives of people in Britain and around the world.

 

 

 

Please note - FairyLightUK reserve the right to use any courier or delivery method at our discretion regardless of the delivery charge that you have paid.

For large or oversize orders the goods may need to be dispatched on a pallet, and an additional delivery cost may be incurred.  Should this be the case our Customer Service team will contact you within 24 working hours from placing your order.

 

Delivery Schedule

From experience, we do realise that carriers come under immense pressure at certain times of the year, especially in the London area, and from time to time there are unavoidable delays.  Usually, this only means a further day and in the worst scenario, three days. It is worth remembering this problem if you are trying to order a product to be delivered to you by a certain date.

We will make every effort to deliver orders within the delivery option requested at the time that the order was placed. However, we cannot guarantee this and we will not accept responsibility if your order is delivered outside this time.

FairyLightUK realises that if you have ordered a "Priority Delivery Service" with ourselves, that it is our responsibility to get the goods to you within the selected time frame.

If the goods fail to be delivered within the allocated time, FairyLightUK will refund the full delivery amount paid.

All goods ordered will be delivered within 30 days of receiving the order. If we cannot deliver within this time, FairyLightUK will inform you and arrange another time for delivery.

If another time cannot be agreed FairyLightUK will offer you a refund for the order, this will take place once the goods are returned back to FairyLightUK Head Office.

We always send you an email to the address that you submitted at the time of ordering to inform you of the dispatch of your goods.

Delivery within the United Kingdom

All orders are despatched as soon as possible after receipt, it is our aim and usual practice to dispatch orders received before 12 noon on the same day (Monday – Friday, excluding Bank Holidays).  If, in the event of a delay, or if it is not possible to dispatch orders promptly, we will advise you by either telephone or e-mail.

Currently all orders under the value of £20 including VAT are dispatched by Royal Mail 1st Class Post unless an alternative delivery option is chosen at the checkout.  Any Goods over the value of £20 including VAT are sent out by our appointed courier UK Mail. We do, however, reserve the right to select a carrier at our discretion.  Placed within the parcel will be a VAT invoice.

In the unlikely event you should have a problem with your order please contact us. Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee standard delivery services as we rely on a third party (our carrier), however, over 98.5% of deliveries are achieved on time.

All deliveries are supplied with an invoice detailing all costs including VAT and the products purchased.
